CONTENT PRACTICE
Download Sources and Guide Maintenance
We check download sources by verifying client names, release sources, platform architectures, and link availability. Links are centralized on the client downloads page to avoid outdated URLs scattered across articles. Guides are maintained against tested workflows, with menu labels, permission prompts, and log results checked rather than treating one environment’s behavior as universal.
Interfaces and cores may change between releases. If menus differ, first confirm the client and core, then revisit import and connection steps in the quick-start guide. For platform permission issues, see the relevant section of the installation guide.
PROJECT V ECOSYSTEM
Project V, V2Fly, and Xray
Project V is an open-source ecosystem built around network proxy capabilities. V2Fly continues community maintenance of the V2Ray core. Xray grew from related code and has developed along its own path, with distinct protocol and transport capabilities. They belong to related core families, but their configuration fields and feature support are not interchangeable.
Clients provide the graphical interface and manage configuration; cores handle the actual connections. v2rayN can manage different cores. v2rayNG uses Xray, while v2flyNG uses V2Fly. Check node requirements and core support when choosing a client; the client name alone does not determine compatibility.
USAGE BOUNDARIES
Responsible Use and Scope
This site provides technical guidance, not nodes or subscription services. Use clients only on networks you are authorized to access, and follow applicable laws and your organization’s network policies. Connection results also depend on the subscription service, system settings, and network conditions. These guides do not guarantee availability or security.
When troubleshooting, start with the FAQ in the relevant guide. Before sharing logs, remove subscription URLs, access credentials, and other personal information.
